VISIONS. INSIDE THE WORK OF ART

The Last Judgment by Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, the Last Supper by Federico Barocci in Urbino, Donatello’s David, the Lamentation of Christ by Guido Mazzoni, the Madonna of Parturition by Piero della Francesca, the Deposition of Christ by Rosso Fiorentino, the Maestà in Siena by Duccio da Boninsegna, the Stories of Saint Benedict painted by Luca Signorelli and Sodoma in the cloister of the Monastery of Monte Oliveto Maggiore. A series of forty-five short films focuses on the works of art, paintings, sculptures, dealing with the commissions, the compositional traits, the iconography and the innovations of each artist.
